HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

It is Joe's Birthday today and he is just 1 year shy of the big one! But will be worrying about that next year..  He will probably kill me if he ever see's this, but I had to post a funny picture of him like he likes to do for the camera and then a nice one we took of him (don't get those to often).  I tried to do a collage of some pictures of him from younger days but for some reason my scanner isn't working and I'm wondering if Joe did something to it so I wouldn't or it just could not be working..  Anyway have a great Birthday today Joe.  From your family, Thanks for all you do.  Love ya!

A New Background and a funny conversation....

I found this background when I was looking to change it and had to put this one with the monkey's.  Monkey's are Patrick's favorite animal and he just loves them on anything! So last week were talking and he all of a sudden starts telling me about this girl he likes in class (he is 8) and so I'm like ok, you like a girl and he says actually I Love Her! And I said Umm I think you like her not Love her that is a strong word, but you can like her a lot and he says he likes her because she loves monkey's just like him and that just made me laugh because its over the monkey thing that he likes her so much.  So, as I say that you can just like her he then says to me ok mom all like her for now and then when we are in High School all tell her that I Love her and I just started laughing so hard and said that sounds great, I think waiting until then is the perfect time.. He is to funny! Its great to have these conversations with your kids but then on the other hand one day High School will be here and all really have to deal with having my handsome little boy be in love with a girl..

Flying Kite's

A couple of weeks ago it was a perfect Saturday to fly a kite. The wind was blowing pretty strong but yet it was warm and just perfect...

We went to a park next to Patrick's school and got out our $1 kites and went to it.  They worked great and the kids had a lot of fun.  It was even great for Joe because this believe it or not was his first time ever flying a kite, he never did this as a kid.  When he told me that I felt sad for him and then could not believe it! I mean who doesn't fly a kite when there a kid, but 
you would have to know his back ground to understand.  He had a blast just like the kids, it was a fun time..

Not much going on..

I haven't really posted a lot lately or even said much.  We have been busy but nothing exciting enough to post.  But, spring is coming and the exciting times will be coming again.  Well, I just wanted to post a little something since it has been a while since I have.  Keeping it short and sweet..

Go Steelers!!

WOW! What a Super Bowl.  Joe's team the Steelers (if you can't tell) went to the Super Bowl and what a game!  

So, for Joe I had to do a little dedication to the Steelers and there great effort yesterday and as always at the last minute the win. We had a great time and what a Super Bowl to remember.  It has to be the best yet for me.

Thank you to Uncle David, Aunt Tonya and DJ for giving us and extended Christmas.. Here are the things that the boys picked out.  They are loving there new Basketball Hoop and the little toys they also got. Thanks again and we love you guys!

A New Year 2009...

Well the New Year is here and even though you want them to be great mine hasn't started off the greatest.  My parents were here for Christmas and the New Year and we had a great time.  Then I received a phone call sunday night that my cousin (one I haven't seen in a long time) died and they weren't sure from what yet.  Even though we weren't close I feel bad for the his parents that I have had a relationship with and just feel for them with the pain there going through and then wanting answers to how a 28 year could die so young. 

 I am praying and trying to have as much Faith as I can that things will be the same this year as any other year and that Joe will have his job and there won't be any permanent layoffs.  I hope for Health and strength for our family and the big one as always do better with what I'm suppose to be doing and also try and lose more weight.
