This last weekend we did some semi-camping in the backyard... We wanted to go actual camping this year but it didn't work out. So, after a lot of asking from the boys we decided to just do it in the backyard. So, we got the tent up. We even busted out the TV and rented an old classic "Never Ending Story". For those who are my age you would of heard of this. It was actually pretty good and the boys even enjoyed it, even though its about 30 years old.
We also did a little campfire talk and roasting marshmallows, the boys favorite.. Joe ended up sleeping out with them in the tent. But at 2 am I hear Joe come in and Blake crawling in bed with me (he was too scared). Then around 6 am the rest of them all came in the house and crawled in bed. So much for camping. It's funny when were actually camping how we all stay in the tent.. but if you have a better option then I guess you do that instead. All and all it was fun and the boys really enjoyed it! I think they got camping out of them for this year..
