September 11.. It is a sad day. This is a day I look back at every year and it just makes me remember the events of the day. There were a lot of people lost this day. For us it was scarey. I had an Uncle and a friend from High School at the time that flew a lot for there jobs to New York, so they were a first thought. The morning this happened my mom calls us early and says turn on the TV you have to see whats going on. So we did and I couldn't believe it at first your thought is not terrorism but sure enough it was. Joe's sister and her husband were in Las Vegas at the time and suppose to be on a flight home to Ohio, so we were panicking wondering what happened with them (before we had cells). But, then we got the call that they were stuck at the airport and weren't going to be able to fly out for at least a week because of what happened. So we went and picked them up and tried to figure out something for them to get home. They tried to rent a car, but the car rental places had been notified not to rent cars at this time and so finally they had to just buy a car and drive home to Ohio. Crazy time. Its a day of somber for me remembering the day and what took place and try to remember all the families that were effected by this in some way. It also makes me wonder when and will it happen again and were it will hit next. But, for now lets Remember those who lost there lives both in the crashes and those who went in to save lives..
